If you can’t tell, that’s another set of fire trucks congregating near our house; however, this time it’s two doors down in the opposite direction. At first we thought perhaps something was going down at the bank (“Ocean’s 14”, maybe?), but they’re ignoring the building itself. I could hear someone further down the street talking on a bullhorn (or a radio), but I couldn’t make out what they were saying.
Now a new fire truck has pulled up and is pointing very bright lights almost directly at our house. Man, I hope it doesn’t wake up our kids!
Hopefully this one will end as uneventfully as the last one…
